Terra Nova’s ‘FYRE WING’ Heuchera Re-highlighted in 2026 New Variety Lineup
On September 29, 2026, horticulture writer Leslie F. Halleck introduced Terra Nova Nurseries’ FYRE WING™ heuchera series under the title “Lace-Leaf Heuchera FYRE WING Coral Bells.” The article treated the series as part of the new cultivar trend observed after horticulture industry events including Farwest and GardenComm.
Terra Nova’s official “New for 2026” product page lists FYRE WING™ ‘Amber’, ‘Heliodor’, ‘Hematite’, ‘Jadeite’, ‘Jet’, ‘Rhodonite’, and ‘Spinel’ among its 2026 new varieties. The company’s introductions list also marks these FYRE WING™ cultivars as 2026 introductions.
According to the official product description, FYRE WING™ ‘Amber’ is a heuchera characterized by golden-amber foliage and deeply cut, lace-like leaves. The company gives its growing information as USDA hardiness zones 4–9, 11 inches tall, 12 inches wide, 14-inch flower height, and full sun to part shade exposure.
Terra Nova’s awards page states that the FYRE WING™ series won a Retailers’ Choice Award at the 2026 Farwest Show in Portland and also received a Retailers’ Choice Award at Cultivate’26 in Columbus, Ohio, on July 13, 2026. This confirms that the new variety lineup had already been evaluated in North American horticultural trade settings.
