- Black Spot: A disease causing black spots on the leaves. To prevent this, plant in a well-ventilated location, and use an antimicrobial agent if it occurs.
- Powdery Mildew: A disease causing leaves to turn white. Control it by spraying an appropriate fungicide in the early stages of the disease. - Aphids and Mites: Inspect the plants periodically; if found, wash with soap and water or apply an appropriate insecticide.
