Its leaves are thick and nearly spherical, appearing silvery-gray or green; due to the light-reflecting effect, it bears the name "silver skin," true to its meaning. Flowering typically occurs between summer and autumn, usually producing yellow or white flowers.

Propagation is primarily done via seeds or division. Seed propagation is performed early indoors, requiring a warm environment with adequate sunlight until germination occurs. Division should be performed after the plant has grown sufficiently large, and the separated individuals must be transplanted into separate pots.

Cultivation Methods - Light: It requires plenty of bright sunlight; it is best placed in a location with direct sunlight, such as near a window or on a balcony.

 - Temperature: A temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius is suitable, and it is recommended to maintain a temperature of at least 10 degrees Celsius during the winter.

Uses in the GardenThanks to its unique appearance, it is very popular as a decorative plant in the garden. It pairs particularly well with other succulents or in rock gardens, and is also suitable for small pots or terrariums.
