Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' is one of the most commonly grown foliage plants and belongs to the Chenopodiaceae family. It is primarily used for indoor decoration.

Growth Characteristics- Light: It prefers bright, indirect light, so it is best to avoid direct sunlight.
- Temperature: The optimal temperature is around 15–25°C, and it grows well even in cool environments.
- Water: Avoid overwatering; water thoroughly when the soil dries out. Excessive watering can cause root rot.
- Air Humidity: It grows well in normal indoor humidity, but care is needed in dry environments as the leaf tips may dry out.

- Pests: Spider mites or scale insects may appear due to dry air. Regular foliar spraying and cleaning are recommended to prevent this.
- Control Methods: In severe cases, fungicides or insecticides can be used. As a natural method, removing insects with a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol is also effective.
