ASCFG, a North American cut flower industry association, released new variety information for growers preparing for the 2027 production and sales season through the Fall issue of The Cut Flower Quarterly. The announcement was reported by Perishable News on September 17, 2026.

The “New Varieties” feature includes 18 breeders and suppliers, including American Takii, Ball Horticultural, Benary, PanAmerican Seed, Sakata Seed America, Syngenta Flowers, and Walters Gardens. ASCFG describes the Fall issue as the publication that carries photos and descriptions of upcoming new varieties each year.

The featured crop range spans major categories in the cut flower market. According to the report, introductions include fringed and ruffled lisianthus in the Corelli, Croma, Rosita, and Voyage series; ranunculus in the Butterfly, Brushmark, and Cloni Natura Moderna lines; the double tulip ‘White Tiger’; and the bicolor tulip ‘Librije.’

The announcement also mentions peonies from Green Works’ Netherlands operation, dahlias in InFlora’s Dezign series, and Jelitto’s Echinacea Mellow Limes and Mellow Scarlets mixes. ASCFG emphasized that the feature helps cut flower growers review planning details such as stem length, vase life, and production timing in advance.

The Cut Flower Quarterly is a quarterly publication provided to ASCFG members, and the association says it covers cut flower production, postharvest handling, marketing, pest management, and research information. The Fall issue’s new variety feature can serve as an industry reference point for selecting 2027 production items and initiating supplier discussions.
